Ahmed Husain Muhsen Abdulla AlHarthi is an experienced energy, international trade, and investment professional with over a decade of hands-on leadership across petroleum logistics, structured energy trading, and strategic capital management within the United Arab Emirates and international markets.
Energy & Petroleum Experience – ADNOC
From 2013 to 2023, Ahmed held a full-time operational role with ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi, where he was responsible for the planning, coordination, and supervision of drilling rig movements and associated equipment across multiple locations.
During this period, he:
● Led logistics and transportation strategies in strict alignment with ADNOC safety standards and UAE regulations
● Managed cross-functional teams including rig crews, transport personnel, and contractors
● Oversaw risk assessments, site surveys, and route planning to ensure safe and efficient mobilisation
● Maintained operational records, schedules, and equipment inventories to support reporting and audit requirements
● Worked closely with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure timely execution and cost control
This role established a strong foundation in operational discipline, safety culture, compliance, and large-scale energy logistics.
Founder & Chairman – Mond Trade
In 2017, Ahmed co-founded Mond Trade, a UAE-licensed trading and consortium platform specialising in petroleum, energy, and strategic commodities.
As Owner and Chairman, he provides direct leadership and oversight across the group’s activities, including:
● Development and leadership of Mond Trade’s consortium model, enabling structured market access between refineries, storage terminals, government buyers, and institutional principals across the Middle East, Africa, and international markets
● Direct oversight of petroleum trading activities, including refined products and energy-related commodities, executed through storage-backed and compliance-led supply programmes
● Responsibility for corporate authority, trading licences, governance, and regulatory alignment under UAE commercial and Free Zone frameworks
● Strategic engagement with refineries, terminal operators, logistics partners, and government-linked entities, ensuring clarity of title, allocation authority, and disciplined execution
In parallel, Ahmed oversees additional trade verticals alongside petroleum, including construction materials, food and agricultural commodities, and general institutional trading.
His leadership approach prioritises bank-safe trade structures, risk management, and long-term programme stability rather than opportunistic brokerage.
Co-Founder – Naucom L.L.C Investment & Management
In 2024, Ahmed became a co-founder of Naucom L.L.C Investment & Management, the group’s financial and investment arm, structured as a private investment and management platform.
Through Naucom, he supports:
● Investment evaluation and participation in technology-driven and growth-stage enterprises
● Portfolio oversight, governance support, and value-creation initiatives
● Structuring of investments in compliance with UAE Free Zone regulations and applicable financial controls
● Engagement with financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory counterparties to support banking, compliance, and KYC readiness
This role complements his operational background by integrating capital strategy, governance, and long-term asset stewardship.
